Dr. Crystal S. Wong

Dr. Crystal S. Wong

Dr. Wong was born and raised in the neighborhood of Bridgeport in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Lane Tech High School where she discovered an interest in anatomy/physiology and micro-organisms. Dr. Wong attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology in 1999. She returned to Chicago and attended Illinois College of Optometry and received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2004.

Dr. Wong practiced Optometry in the western suburbs of Chicago until she acquired Smart Optical in 2011. Dr. Wong is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Illinois Optometric Association. Despite Dr.Wong’s busy schedule, she finds time to enjoy cooking, baking, traveling and spending quality time with her family, including her beloved pups.
